Acclaimed trumpeter/composer Terence Blanchard is currently in the middle of his four-night residency at the SFJAZZ Center. This weekend, Blanchard presents a dynamic sextet, featuring the great Ravi Coltrane on saxophone and Beninese guitarist/vocalist Lionel Loueke. Rounding out the group is saxophonist/educator Brice Winston, Cuban-born pianist/composer Fabian Almazan, accomplished 21-year-old bassist Joshua Crumbly, and drummer phenom Justin Brown, who hails from Oakland and is a former member of the SFJAZZ High School All-Stars!
