From the Ground Up: September 11, 2012

Photographer Henrik Kam gives us a first look at the captivating Grand Staircase as it was being installed inside the SFJAZZ Center.

HK: The Grand Staircase leading from the ground level up to the 2nd story lobby is in and it is fabulous! Hundreds of titanium rods on both sides lead the eye upwards and the light-play on the shiny surfaces sparkles.

Just imagine all the jazz lovers who will be walking up these stairs, filled with excitement and expectations.
