Mary Stallings draws from her own experiences to give advice to young, aspiring musicians. Stallings has a long history with SFJAZZ, receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2011 Gala and performing in the Grand Opening concert at the SFJAZZ Center, nearly one year ago. She returns on January 16th and 17th with NEA Jazz Master Kenny Barron and acclaimed pianist Eric Reed, as SFJAZZ celebrates its first anniversary in its new home!
