From the Ground Up: August 28, 2012

Right now there is a lot of work going on inside the SFJAZZ Center auditorium. This is reflected in Henrik Kam's latest photo.

HK: Although the outside is coming along with the east-facing facade curtain wall almost complete, and the south side well under way, most of the action is in the concert hall itself. It's a forest of scaffolding, creating a huge platform under the ceiling that is enabling fire proofing, installation of electrical conduit, etc. When I was told the space was going to fill up, I immediately associated this with the cathedral in Mexico City and how it was filled with scaffolding for years after an earthquake!

This will obviously come down much sooner.
